After receiving their cards, player place their bets on a central pot, in the middle of the poker table. After the players have placed their bets, another round of cards are dealt.

Player use these new cards received to replace or to add to those that they had already received. Then players can bet again , and so the game goes on until all the round are complete.

The players that remained in the game, those that have 'folded' do not count, put their cards on the table so all the players can see them, and the best hand is the winner.

The player that wins takes the central pot. A poker player has a clear objective, to gain more money than he loses. In order to do so, a player has to win individual pots, and to achieve this, one should know about the poker odds.

There are two types of forced bet, the first is 'ante' and the second type is 'blinds'. '

Ante' is the forced bet that requires players to make a certain bet in the central pot before the beginning of each game. Before the hands are dealt. This specific bet does not count for the future bets.

"Blinds' can also be divided in two types: the small and the big 'blind'.

These kind of forced bets are usually placed on the poker table to replace 'ante', and sometimes they just accompany the 'ante'. This bet counts in the player's last betting round.
